Appointments Panel Members

We're looking for volunteers to join our District Appointments Panel to welcome and support new volunteers joining Godalming Scouts.

In this role, you will:

• Welcome the new volunteer to the Scouts.
• Ensure that new volunteers are aware and accept the values, policies and promise of the Scouts.
• Support volunteers to understand the requirements of their role.
• Check that the new volunteer knows where to go for support and who to ask if they need some help.

What to expect:

• The team meet on Zoom to welcome new volunteers.
• Team members usually do 3 or 4 meetings each year.
• You'll be supported by training and awesome volunteers already on the team.

You'll be great if you are:

• Passionate about supporting others.
• Positive and enthusiastic about Scouts.

We're not picky about whether you've been volunteering at Scouts for 20 years or you're just getting started.
