Our Frantic 09 Event saw 880 Scouts and Guides from across the Godalming, Farnham and Haslemere areas (campers and day visitors) join together on Hampton Estate's land near Elstead.

Frantic09

SubAquaThe main activity day was on the Saturday of the camp, with over 40 activities running for the Scouts and Guides to try.  These included Sub Aqua, Laser Tag, Ariel Runway, firelighting, Bucking Bronco, Powered Karts, Adventure Course, Shooting, Archery, various craft bases, suds hockey, pancake making, bouncy castles and remote control cars amongst many others.  "Crocodile Encounters" also joined us with snakes, crocodiles and a tortoise.

In the evening everyone on the camp had a BBQ, Hog Roast and Fajitas, followed by a Camp Fire and Disco.

The Event was visited by the Mayor of Godalming, the Mayor of Waverley, the Mayor Farnham and other scout and Guide commSnakesissioners and in their words ... "the range of activities was inspirational" ... "It was a pleasure to visit a camp with so many young people clearly enjoying themselves - certainly everyone I spoke to was having a great time" ... "Fabulously wonderful day . I loved watching you all have such fun and I particularly loved the croc and tortoise" .... "it was one of those events that will certainly have those who participated enthusing to their friends for some considerable time!"

Sunday morning saw a number of challenges organised by the Scout Network (18 to 25 year olds) and Circus Skills base along with a number of groups continuing to run their activities.
